Whether you want more of your favorite work, you want a big change, or you’re somewhere in between, you can learn simple daily practices to steer yourself towards doing more of what you love — predictably. People who consistently love their work aren’t just lucky, they have invisible habits that can be understood and applied.
Kristen teaches Native Genius worldwide at companies like eBay, StubHub and comScore. Native Genius is a body of work that helps people shape their work to be in the sweet spot of what they’re good at and what they love doing—because it’s good for them and because it brings significantly better relationships and results.
Kristen is an innovator in the strengths movement and Native Genius is the next evolution of strengths—focusing on mindfulness, vulnerability and intimacy to create lasting change. Native Genius works with the obstacles to strengths that are hidden within the human condition. Native Genius is multidisciplinary, drawing on evidence-based strategies from psychology, neuroscience, leadership development, and the wisdom traditions.
Kristen started her career as a CPA and software developer for Accenture. Before developing Native Genius, she consulted with companies on matters of IT, leadership and strategy for over 20 years. Amidst that work, earned two advanced degrees in esoteric fields—wondering if they would ever amount to anything. She has an MA in Mythological Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute and an MA in Body Centered Psychology from Naropa University. Kristen has been an audience favorite at TEDxBoulder, was named one of the 100 Most Influential Women for EBW 2020, and is a Strategic Advisor for Emerging Women. She lives in Boulder, CO.
