As leaders, our relationship with our drive to be successful can be turbulent. Sometimes it makes us proud, pointing us in the just the right direction, offering us endless energy to stretch ourselves and push forward. Sometimes it betrays us, pointing us towards tradeoffs and polarities that make us question our priorities and the configuration of our lives. And sometimes it eludes us when we need it most.
In this session, Pamela Mattsson, a pioneer in conscious executive development, will guide us in exploring a new paradigm of leadership. She’ll help us uncover a framework that supports us in both navigating our drive and leading from a place of intentional belonging- to ourselves, to others, and to the organization we have selected to be a part of our journey. We’ll uncover the dynamic connection between our ambition and our relationships. We’ll examine what it looks like to pursue our purpose, while continuing to nurture ourselves and others along the way. Maybe there’s another way to go big while still feeling nourished, supported, and connected? Let’s explore what’s possible when we approach our drive from a place of connection and collaboration… a more feminine approach.

She firmly believes that the distinction between work and life is a false polarity. Her leadership philosophy is that life is happening all of the time and true leadership is about taking responsibility for what we are creating, reconnecting to our inner core, our humanness and authentically honoring our values.
Pamela returned to the US seven years ago after a 12 year stint abroad in Switzerland, France and Sweden. She just celebrated her 27th year of marriage to her Swedish husband and is the proud mother of four children with a wild and wooly age range of 22, 21, 14 and 8. She is a feisty southern belle, a passionate and professionally trained chef and avid world traveler.
In her own words…
I firmly believe that the distinction between work and life is a false polarity. Life is happening all of the time and true leadership is about taking responsibility for what we are creating, reconnecting to our inner core, our humanness and authentically honoring our values. I am passionate about celebrating the BADASSERY of strong women and how we are changing the world. I live for experiential learning and how inclusive leadership creates the conditions for innovation.Visit Pamela's Website
