“For me it's a place to try on for size and get support around taking a leap to the next step, or being more authentic in the way I work and lead my team. It is about showing up in your authentic self with a group of people who have ambitions to play bigger – whatever that means to them.”

What is a Power Circle?

Power Circles are facilitated groups of 6–7 women dedicated to growing their capacity for leadership, consciousness, and authenticity.

Power Circles support the inner and outer work of being a leader. That includes and reaches beyond goal setting, accountability and financial targets. The unique EW Power Circle practices, content and facilitated process guide participants in holding vision, witnessing and reflecting.

Women who join Power Circles are self-aware and successful, and come from diverse ages, backgrounds and businesses. Some women are starting and growing businesses, some are redefining their roles and impact as corporate leaders, and others are dreaming and developing new possibilities for us all.

The Power Circle Experience

This is a six-month deep dive with monthly transformational themes. Our facilitated and proprietary peer mentoring process fosters an atmosphere of authenticity and vulnerability that catalyzes real change. The curriculum includes monthly practices and content, and guided connections with check-in partners between meetings. Access to content and connections are made easy with our dedicated app to connect, learn and track progress.

Six Transformational Themes

  1. 1

    The Power of Story

Narrative defines the past and maps out the future. As leaders, entrepreneurs, and women going for it, skillful storytelling will help you rally the team behind a vision, win clients and woo investors.

  2. 2

Getting Real: Desires, Goals & Numbers

“Making it” is no longer just about getting the corner office, it means doing work that matters. Together we will share current pictures of our businesses, identify desires, design our vision of success, and create 1-year goals and strategy.”

  3. 3

Playing Big: What's in Your Way?

Discover how to recognize and transform limiting beliefs and behaviors. Increase your overall capacity for risk while drawing power from the feminine strength of vulnerability.

  4. 4

    Your Big, Bold Vision

Through a guided experience, you will fully embody the big, bold vision of your life 10 years from now. Journal prompts will help you capture key insights and ahas. Previous Power Circle participants have called this exercise life‑changing.

  5. 5

    The Practice of Trust

Reconnect with your intuition. Lead with passion and confidence instead of anxiety and rationalization. Discern between real fear and old scripts to recognize risks worth taking.

  6. 6

    Connection for Impact

Create the relationships that make things happen. Reach outside your comfort zones into new networks – knowing that your Power Circle is behind you every step of the way.

What my Power Circle did for me

“I now know and am experiencing, that I can be just as, and even more successful by keeping my eye on the ball of goals, financial targets etc., AND simultaneously leaning more into consciousness and the true authenticity of who I am as a woman who creates, builds and leads. It is rare that high achieving women have the opportunity to be in this type of environment and I have been forever impacted by the experience.”

Logistics and Details

How do you match me?
  • Once registration closes, we carefully review and match 6-7 applicants into each Power Circle peer group based upon information provided by applicants during registration.
  • We match you with a circle of peers based on work/life experience, level of impact, future goals, as well as time zones other logistics. We strive for diversity in the Power Circles, to ensure maximum benefit and expertise for all. We believe strongly in matching entrepreneurial women with executives, nonprofit leaders with game-changers, and everything in between. Ultimately, the common denominator is how big you are wanting to play in your work and life.
What is the time commitment and schedule?
  • Power Circles will be either Tuesday or Wednesday during the day or evening, depending on participant availability - please see the schedule below. Final regular meeting times and dates will be established once you have been placed in your circle. It is best if you can commit to being available for either/both of those days. However, if you have a strong preference for one day of the week over the other, please indicate it on the application. Please remember that these meetings are only once per month and there are 6 total sessions - we ask that you prioritize your schedule so that you can attend ALL circle meetings and make the most of this wonderful opportunity!
    • Tuesday: 1/28, 2/25, 3/24, 4/21, 5/19, 6/16
    • Wednesday: 1/29, 2/26, 3/25, 4/22, 5/20, 6/17
  • Virtual Power Circles meet every 4 weeks over 6 months, 2½ hours per meeting. In-person Power Circles (very rare and offered only when there is an intact group of 6 from one geographic location) meet monthly for 6 months, 3 hours per meeting. In-between meetings, for both Virtual and In-person Power Circles, you will spend up to ½ hour for 1-1 partner check-ins.
What is the difference between in-person and virtual Power Circles?
  • Virtual Power Circles allow us to make Power Circles open to as many women as possible and match peers from a larger pool of women. Virtual circles meet via video web conferencing.
  • In-person Power Circles are offered in New York, San Francisco, Boulder, and Denver, when registration numbers allow. Circles will be added in other cities as demand calls, so enroll your friends too!
How can I become a Power Circle facilitator?
  • We recommend that you go through the Power Circle program as a participant first. Our Power Circle facilitators are enrolled in our invitation-only Power Circle training.
What is the Power Circle refund policy?
The Power Circle is a 6-month facilitated small-group process, requiring the full commitment of all participants. There are limited spaces available, and we carefully match each Power Circle based on the individual participants. Because each person's full commitment is necessary for the Power Circle to have the highest value for all of the participants, there can be no refunds or credits of any kind after you are placed into a Circle. This includes partial refunds for missed Circle meetings. Your credit card is required to reserve a spot within a Circle. By signing up for a Power Circle you also agree to the dates and format of this program.
What is a Power Circle NOT?
The Power Circle is not a group therapy circle. If you are looking for professional support in navigating trauma or other deep psychological issues or disorders, this process will not support that. We WILL address limiting beliefs and provide a strong support for healing and transformation, and we welcome all women who are ready to do this kind of inner work. The Power Circle is not a CEO or Industry mastermind group. You will likely be in a circle with women who are from various industries and at various points in their careers or life. This is often the magic of the circles as in our experience, diversity of perspectives result in a more comprehensive feedback loop for each woman's emerging journey. Regardless of industry or position, the common experience is a circle of strong, powerful women who are dedicated to your success and thriving.
