3 Keys to Turn Burnout into Personal Fuel: How to Hit Pause and Thrive

This video is only available to our members.

Overwhelm, stress, burnout… these are things women experience, more often than men, and it’s costing us our lives; physically, mentally and emotionally. In modern business, burnout is viewed as inevitable, but it doesn’t have to be this way. Burnout can lead to some of the deepest and truest revelations about oneself if you know how to look for them and navigate the negativity. It takes learning the power of pausing; facing your greatest fears and learning to be yourself again. Instead of avoiding problems or challenges (including burnout), when you know how to intentionally pause, you can address them, solve them, and learn. Pausing means you are being in service to the doing, and that is key for women and leaders whether it’s for your own life, a team, a company, or your family. We need to change the paradigm and reclaim our lives.

This month, Rachael O’Meara is our special guest. She is a recognized author who is focused on helping others see the value and magnitude of learning to pause, to strategically assess their work and life patterns not just to avoid burnout, but to embrace an entirely new way of thinking and being in order to thrive. Rachael expertly shares her own experiences as an executive and a woman who has learned the value of finding solutions to common issues that come with a high-powered career. Through honoring the self, creating new patterns, and consciously nourishing ourselves, we open doors to operating in ways that are intentional and proactive.

Together, we’ll open up dialogue to honestly address our own behavior patterns and map plans for shifting into patterns that move us from reactive, stress-inducing ones to those that feed contentment in our work and personal lives. We can all benefit from the art of pausing, not just for reflection, but for real action and strategy. When we take time to develop intelligent approaches to what we know causes burnout, we set the stage for success and fulfillment.
