Leading in Times of Magnified Uncertainty: How to Find Your Footing When Standing on the Edge

This video is only available to our members.

Leaders around the globe will tell you that they’ve had to make tough calls and firm decisions many times in their careers when feeling they were on shaky ground. We live in a chaotic, fast-paced time and uncertainty looms around us in every direction; in just a split second, things can shift and change dramatically. How can we stay grounded and living in our truth to make solid decisions and lead others in this environment?

This month, we visit with Gayle Karen Young, a guru of human and organizational development who is passionate about teaching people to tap in, to root down into their own authentic self, and to stabilize in order to lead effectively. There are many components to leadership and it can be a rather subjective topic; everyone has their own opinions on what makes a leader valued and impactful. However, all leaders who are successful resonate in the reality of Gayle’s topic: Leading in Times of Magnified Uncertainty.

In a time of uncertainty and ambiguity, when the paradigms we have lived with are shifting, what is required of us personally and generationally is enormous, and we need to develop our own capabilities to walk the path ahead of us. The principles we’ll talk about are an invitation to a more full life, a more grounded life, a way to shape attention to what matters, and an exploration in curiosity about what leadership in these times asks of us and how we keep shaping ourselves in turn to be able for this.

Women will have a conversation that creates a reflective moment in their day to think with me about what supports their capability to lead in times of magnified uncertainty.

To lead in times of magnified uncertainty, you need to hone your capacity and attention to be able for it. We’ll talk about what it means to drink from a deeper well, the need to dream with moral imagination, the need to be in one’s own body, have one’s allies, and learn from the edges and to risk delight.

Join us for our March Power Boost and experience clarity and focus that you can take with you into your next endeavor!
